Yeah, I was a delinquent. It was when I was in the ninth grade. I was doing stupid stuff, and the cops came into the class. I was humiliated more than anything.

We all have possibilities we don’t know about. We can do things we don’t even dream we can do.

Everyone should be respected as an individual, but no one idolized.

We have the tendency to run away from suffering and to look for happiness. But, in fact, if you have not suffered, you have no chance to experience real happiness.

What’s really hard is that you could care a lot for someone and not want to live with him anymore.

But sports carried me away from being in a gang, or being associated with drugs. Sports was my way out.

I have offended God and mankind because my work didn’t reach the quality it should have.

Being ignorant is not so much a shame, as being unwilling to learn.

I know that I’m not the easiest person to live with. The challenge I put on myself is so great that the person I live with feels himself challenged. I bring a lot to bear, and I don’t know how not to.

Prison life, fortunately, I spent a lot of years, about 18 years with other prisoners, and, as I say, they enriched your soul.
