When you come to my show, I want it to feel like opera, like a theatre.

I was a dancer for many years. I was a premier dancer with ‚Porgy and Bess,‘ the opera. And I taught dance some, in different places.

I enjoy driving on the sim, doing stuff like that, staying at home.

I don’t think comedy will ever die.

Since childhood, I’ve been a clown. I’ve always liked being very funny or trying to make people laugh. It’s my original self.

When I was performing the songs on ‚Kiss Land,‘ it was a great singalong. But there were moments where I realized some parts were catchier than the others. There’s maybe two choruses on all of ‚Kiss Land.‘

I’ve always had to conquer fear when I’m on stage. Basically, I was and still am a very shy person. It’s absolutely in conflict with what I do. But once I deliver the first joke I’m okay. It’s like I’m out there all by myself just delivering my lines to nobody in particular without ever trying to notice the audience in front of me.

I don’t like to be bored.

I like entertaining people. I really miss it.

Endorsements are a reward for good performance on the field, and the commitments made after signing them need to be done.

I feel lucky that I can have people laugh solidly for a whole hour by just saying what I think and getting paid for it.

An operatic voice is like no other.

Football games are on TV, and it doesn’t affect stadium attendance at all. It’s the same with movies. People who really love movies and like to go out on a Saturday night will go to the movie theater.

I didn’t have to win, and winning wasn’t important to me. Being world champion wasn’t important to me. What was important to me was entertaining the audience, and whether that meant winning, losing, singing, or whatever it was on the live show we were doing every week, which was awesome, I was game for it.

Wrestling is intimate. You can reach out and touch the wrestlers.

I don’t really focus on these things – on what tags are given to me or what people think of me off the field – stuff like that. My main focus is always to do well on the field for the Indian cricket team. When people say good things about me off the field, I am more than happy to accept them.

I spent much of my childhood in northern Quebec, and often there was no radio, no television – there wasn’t a lot to entertain us. When it rained, I stayed inside reading, writing, drawing.

The greatest thing about being a comedian is knowing other comedians. And you get to talk to them. Its the most fun.

I love WWE, and I love that platform. There is no other platform in the world that gives me that instant gratification. There is just no other platform.

Chris Rock does the political thing really well, but that never worked for me.

To the audience, it’s like I’m changing the subject every five seconds, but to me, my show’s almost like a 90-minute song that I know exactly. I wrote every note, and I know exactly where everything is.

I don’t feel awful because I have to answer questions about it. I feel awful in that locker room because I could have done something more to help my teammates win.
