One can’t predict the weather more than a few days in advance.

The truth is you don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow. Life is a crazy ride, and nothing is guaranteed.

The Internet offers opportunities that are more unique than ever before. With TV, I know I’m making 22 minutes; I know there’s a commercial in the middle. With the Internet, no one knows anything. No rules.

I still make sure to go, at least once every year, to a country where things cannot be taken for granted, and where there is either too much law and order or too little.

The world is so unpredictable. Things happen suddenly, unexpectedly. We want to feel we are in control of our own existence. In some ways we are, in some ways we’re not. We are ruled by the forces of chance and coincidence.

A journey is a person in itself; no two are alike. And all plans, safeguards, policing, and coercion are fruitless. We find that after years of struggle that we do not take a trip; a trip takes us.

Just because you make a good plan, doesn’t mean that’s what’s gonna happen.

And in real life endings aren’t always neat, whether they’re happy endings, or whether they’re sad endings.

Life is anything but predictable.

If life were predictable it would cease to be life, and be without flavor.

It’s a frustrating game because the situations so drastically change at different times over the course of the week, the game, the season. It feels like brain surgery at times.

Meteorologists are pretty faces reading scripts telling you whether it’s going to rain tomorrow.

Only one in four jokes ever works, and I still can’t predict what people will laugh at.

The human body is strange and flawed and unpredictable. The human body has many secrets, and it does not divulge them to anyone, except those who have learned to wait.

Love is the one wild card.
