My weak spot is laziness. Oh, I have a lot of weak spots: cookies, croissants.

We fear to know the fearsome and unsavory aspects of ourselves, but we fear even more to know the godlike in ourselves.

My purpose is to help people look at themselves and begin to shift their concepts. Remember, we are not our country, our race, or religion. We are eternal spirits. Seeing ourselves as spiritual beings without label is a way to transform the world and reach a sacred place for all of humanity.

I’m nobody, who are you?

With mindfulness, you can establish yourself in the present in order to touch the wonders of life that are available in that moment.

Why does your mind conform? Have you ever asked? Are you aware that you are conforming to a pattern? It doesn’t matter what that pattern is, whether you have established a pattern for yourself or it has been established for you.

With fame, you know, you can read about yourself, somebody else’s ideas about you, but what’s important is how you feel about yourself – for survival and living day to day with what comes up.

The first and greatest victory is to conquer yourself; to be conquered by yourself is of all things most shameful and vile.

Things that I felt absolutely sure of but a few years ago, I do not believe now. This thought makes me see more clearly how foolish it would be to expect all men to agree with me.

So let’s be honest with ourselves and not take ourselves too serious, and never condemn the other fellow for doing what we are doing every day, only in a different way.

What a waste it is to lose one’s mind. Or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is.

Narrow your life down to this moment. Your life situation may be full of problems – most life situations are – but find out if you have a problem at this moment. Do you have a problem now?

As a human being, anger is a part of our mind. Irritation also part of our mind. But you can do – anger come, go. Never keep in your sort of – your inner world, then create a lot of suspicion, a lot of distrust, a lot of negative things, more worry.

I’m inconsistent, even to myself.

You might not have the things you want, but if you check carefully, you got all you need.

We must be our own before we can be another’s.

I have the habit of attention to such excess, that my senses get no rest – but suffer from a constant strain.

We run carelessly to the precipice, after we have put something before us to prevent us seeing it.

I think for my bones and my size, I better stay with my 60 kilo.
