I’ve been very fortunate.

Life is too short not to celebrate nice moments!

‚They‘ is… stay away from them, please. There is so many different definitions of ‚they.‘ You might have a personal ‚they.‘ They against you; they want you broken and miserable. They don’t like winners; they don’t like people who’s blessed. So everybody’s got a different ‚they.‘

I’ve always been surrounded by many great people and professors, but my family, especially my mom who was a teacher, was the person who encouraged me to study and pushed me to continue. When we’re young, we don’t understand why our parents bug us so much with school and doing homework, but it’s a blessing to have that support at home.

I’m confident with my ability.

In this great country, we celebrate success. We don’t want to penalize those who have done well.

Do I worry about being in the public eye and raising kids? Yeah. Any situation you’re in, you’re gonna worry about raising kids. But it’s champagne problems, too. There are people who can’t feed their kids.

The best effort of a fine person is felt after we have left their presence.

I really believe in the philosophy that you create your own universe. I’m just trying to create a good one for myself.

I think the most important thing is to keep active and to hope that your mind stays active.

Remember happiness doesn’t depend upon who you are or what you have; it depends solely on what you think.

Honestly, I always believed in myself. For real, for real.

Act enthusiastic and you will be enthusiastic.

Don’t let the incidents which take place in life bring you low. And certainly don’t whine. You can be brought low, that’s OK, but don’t be reduced by them. Just say, ‚That’s life.‘

If you’re serious, you really understand that it’s important that you laugh as much as possible and admit that you’re the funniest person you ever met. You have to laugh. Admit that you’re funny. Otherwise, you die in solemnity.

An overflow of good converts to bad.

Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.

It’s God’s will for you to live in prosperity instead of poverty. It’s God’s will for you to pay your bills and not be in debt.

Every day is a gift from God, no matter how old we are.

It shows nobility to be willing to increase your debt to a man to whom you already owe much.

Optimism means better than reality; pessimism means worse than reality. I’m a realist.

Instead of comparing our lot with that of those who are more fortunate than we are, we should compare it with the lot of the great majority of our fellow men. It then appears that we are among the privileged.

Giving is better than receiving because giving starts the receiving process.

Remind yourself that the greatest technique for bringing peace into your life is to always choose being kind when you have a choice between being right or being kind.

You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It’s just a matter of paying attention to this miracle.

He is richest who is content with the least, for content is the wealth of nature.

I’m grateful to intelligent people. That doesn’t mean educated. That doesn’t mean intellectual. I mean really intelligent. What black old people used to call ‚mother wit‘ means intelligence that you had in your mother’s womb. That’s what you rely on. You know what’s right to do.

‚O sleep, O gentle sleep,‘ I thought gratefully, ‚Nature’s soft nurse!‘

Remember, you can always stoop and pick up nothing.

I know that I came into the world with what I call ‚big dharma‘ – with a blueprint to teach self-reliance and a positive loving approach to large numbers of people all over the globe. I am ever so grateful for the circumstances of my life that allowed me to be pretty much left alone and to develop as I was so intended in this incarnation.

We are not here to curse the darkness, but to light the candle that can guide us thru that darkness to a safe and sane future.

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.

Because forgiveness is like this: a room can be dank because you have closed the windows, you’ve closed the curtains. But the sun is shining outside, and the air is fresh outside. In order to get that fresh air, you have to get up and open the window and draw the curtains apart.

Sometimes we look back and 10 years from now we think, ‚Boy, those were great old days.‘ Well, you know, we’re living in the good old days.

This Sunday School has been of help to me, greater perhaps than any other force in my Christian life, and I can ask no better things for you than that you, and all that shall come after you in this great band of workers for Christ, shall receive the same measure of blessedness which I have been permitted to have.

Satan wants us to constantly focus on everything that is wrong with us and look at how far we still have to go. But God desires for us to rejoice in how far we have already come.

Who is rich? He that rejoices in his portion.

Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.

It doesn’t matter where you are coming from. All that matters is where you are going.
