I still think I am the greatest.

I learned a long time ago the wisest thing I can do is be on my own side, be an advocate for myself and others like me.

I was in my late thirties when my eyes were opened to truth in God’s Word that showed me I wasn’t living the abundant life Jesus died for me to have. I had a very negative mindset and was miserable most of the time because of the abuse I had experienced throughout my childhood.

Mirth is like a flash of lightning, that breaks through a gloom of clouds, and glitters for a moment; cheerfulness keeps up a kind of daylight in the mind, and fills it with a steady and perpetual serenity.

Sure it’s a big job; but I don’t know anyone who can do it better than I can.

I’m a woman, and anytime you tell a woman that she looks nice, it’s not going to upset her.

As pessimistic as I am about the nature of human beings and our capacity for atrocity and malevolence and betrayal and laziness and inertia, and all those things, I think we can transcend all that and set things straight.

I try to see the good in everybody, and I don’t care who people are as long as they’re themselves, whatever that is.

Of course, to have money is just great because you can do what you think is important to you. I always was a rich person because money’s not related to happiness.

The devil is a peace stealer, and he works hard to set us up to get upset. But we can learn how to change our approach so we don’t live upset all of the time. And Jesus gives us the best example to follow.
