I believe the scripture says that being gay is a sin.

If you have a particular faith or religion, that is good. But you can survive without it.

There’s a belief that you’re supposed to be poor, and suffering, and show your humility. I just don’t see the Bible that way. I see that God came and Jesus died so that we might live an abundant life and be a blessing to others.

Conversion is not my intention. Changing religion is not easy. You may develop some kind of confusion or difficulties.

I have never sat down and studied the Bible, never consciously echoed its language, and am, in reality, as ignorant of it as most brought-up Christians. All of the Bible that I use in my work is remembered from childhood and is the common property of all who were brought up in English-speaking communities.
