I believe that the primary role of the government is to protect people and not run their lives. You used to be able to believe that in the Democratic Party.

If you believe in science, like I do, you believe that there are certain laws that are always obeyed.

I’ve come to the conclusion that mythology is really a form of archaeological psychology. Mythology gives you a sense of what a people believes, what they fear.
