I always said that I wouldn’t use a teleprompter, and if I start to sing real flat, I’ll hang it up.

At Real, psychological pressure on the players is much more serious than at United. This is good. At many clubs, you don’t know the consequence of playing badly.

My whole life is a theater piece.

I like touring extensively because I think the more hours you spend onstage, the more you know who you are onstage.

‚Leading man‘ just means people want to see you and assume that you can hold a film, carry a movie.

I’m sure everyone knows now that only a few have performed in Madison Square Garden. That list is so small. Now I’m on that list. I’m a part of a very small group, which is unbelievable. You relish in that moment for a second.

For me, the way I stay consistent is through stand-up comedy.

I get really motivated when I put on the India jersey. It is a responsibility, so I want to perform in the best way I can.

When I was a kid, I never did funny things to get attention. I was never a funny person. I was never, like, ‚Oh, wow. I could say this some day on stage.‘

Acting is nothing more or less than playing. The idea is to humanize life.

I played characters with villainous aspect. But out-and-out villain? No.

Aside from singing, I’m also a dancer. I’ve been dancing since I was 8.

I don’t know what acting is, but I enjoy it.

Acting is a question of absorbing other people’s personalities and adding some of your own experience.

I can’t say this enough – the food that you put into your bodies can actually help you get better grades. And it can also affect your performance in sports and other activities too. You see, when you give your body the best possible fuel, you have more energy, you’re stronger, you think more quickly.

I didn’t think it was special to be able to sing.

I always wanted to know, and I always used to daydream, about what it would be like to stand on a really big stage and sing songs for a lot of people, songs that I had written… Daydreaming was kind of my No. 1 thing when I was little, because I didn’t have much of a social life going on.
