Courage is being scared to death… and saddling up anyway.

I never expect to lose. Even when I’m the underdog, I still prepare a victory speech.

I have the Midas touch, in the way that when I hook up with a project, I feel, not speaking cocky or conceited, but there’s a confidence I have. I learned that from Muhammad Ali; I used to bodyguard him. He taught me about confidence. So when it comes to any job I work, I’m gonna do it good; I’m going to bring it over the top.

I believe that I’m one of the best in the world at what I do, and that’s all I’ve ever wanted to be.

Any experience that touches you, in any particular way, is good. It can be a horrible experience.

In this business, by the time you realize you’re in trouble, it’s too late to save yourself. Unless you’re running scared all the time, you’re gone.

Sometimes God will deliver you from the fire, and other times God will make you fireproof.

Avoid having your ego so close to your position that when your position falls, your ego goes with it.

If it’s stress of things that we cannot control, what you have to do is you mitigate that stress as much as possible. You’ve planned, you’ve trained, you’ve done everything you can in your power to mitigate the stress that’s facing you. And then after that, there’s nothing you can do. So, you have to let that one go.

Do something everyday for no other reason than you would rather not do it, so that when the hour of dire need draws nigh, it may find you not unnerved and untrained to stand the test.

Shame is the most powerful, master emotion. It’s the fear that we’re not good enough.

Win as if you were used to it, lose as if you enjoyed it for a change.

Logically, harmony must come from the heart… Harmony very much based on trust. As soon as use force, creates fear. Fear and trust cannot go together.
