Bigotry is probably the thing I detest most.

Blacks, especially in America, have been raised with a slave mentality – they don’t feel that they have the right to speak as loud as possible.

Failure to do so could mean arrest, trial, a jail sentence or fine.

I hate the way they portray us in the media. If you see a black family it says they’re looting, if you see a white family it says they’re looking for food.

I ain’t never called nobody no redskin. I’ve never been mad, like, ‚Get out of this restaurant, you redskin.‘

In my country of South Africa, we struggled for years against the evil system of apartheid that divided human beings, children of the same God, by racial classification and then denied many of them fundamental human rights.

Anti-Semitism is real in this country.

Anybody who has been discriminated against, who comes from a group that’s been discriminated against, knows what it’s like.

To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity.

Nothing induces me to read a novel except when I have to make money by writing about it. I detest them.

When you single out any particular group of people for secondary citizenship status, that’s a violation of basic human rights.

I detest racialism, because I regard it as a barbaric thing, whether it comes from a black man or a white man.
