As I approached my 95th birthday, I was burdened to write a book that addressed the epidemic of ‚easy believism.‘ There is a mindset today that if people believe in God and do good works, they are going to Heaven.

I do think there must be some kind of interaction between your living life and the life that goes on from here.

The major religions, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, they deny somehow that God has a feminine face. However, if you go to the holy texts, you see there is this feminine presence.

You see, God helps only people who work hard. That principle is very clear.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn’t, than live as if there isn’t and to die to find out that there is.

You will never exaggerate when you speak good things of God. It is not possible to do so. Try, dear brethren, and boast in the Lord.

You can have religion with spirituality. You can also have religion without spirituality.

I’ve had faith my whole life that there was someone looking out for me, a spirit guide, a soul guide.

Wanting to feel good is synonymous with wanting to feel God.

What if others suffer shipwreck, yet none that sail with Jesus have ever been stranded yet.

I serve God.

Some Christians feel guilty when they are doing something that isn’t ‚spiritual.‘ Somehow or another, they feel the need to hurry through the grocery store, dash through the house cleaning, and rush through all the daily aspects of life that seem irrelevant to their faith.

India has 2,000,000 gods and worships them all. In religion, all other countries are paupers; India is the only millionaire.

All gods are homemade, and it is we who pull their strings, and so, give them the power to pull ours.

We need to reject any politics that targets people because of race or religion. This isn’t a matter of political correctness. It’s a matter of understanding what makes us strong. The world respects us not just for our arsenal; it respects us for our diversity and our openness and the way we respect every faith.
