No man who has once heartily and wholly laughed can be altogether irreclaimably bad.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

I always kind of see how I want things to be better, and I’m generally not happy with how things are or the level of service that we’re providing for people or the quality of the teams that we built. But if you look at this objectively, we’re doing so well on so many of these things. I think it’s important to have gratitude for that.

A good laugh is sunshine in the house.

The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.

We are each made for goodness, love and compassion. Our lives are transformed as much as the world is when we live with these truths.

I’m like a recovering perfectionist. For me it’s one day at a time.

I’ve been blessed to be somebody that’s been climbing that success mountain top for years of hard work, you know, but now it’s all connecting. And now, the whole world is watching, you know what I’m saying, and it feels good ‚cause it’s good energy. This is all positive vibes, and good vibes and good energy, so it feels incredible.

Man’s nature is not essentially evil. Brute nature has been known to yield to the influence of love. You must never despair of human nature.

If one dream dies, dream another dream. If you get knocked down, get back up and go again.

You want to do good things, and once you’ve done a couple of good things in a row, you think ‚Well gee, let’s not mess this up.‘ But I am lucky at this point that I have something I really love to do, and it completely holds my attention. I never feel frustrated by it.

What we think, we become.

In my entire life, any time I’ve ever lost something, I’ve gotten something even better going around the next corner. It’s like one door closes and another door opens. As long as I can walk through the produce section in every grocery store in this country and eat the grapes that they’re going to throw away, I know I can be fine.

I’d rather be optimistic and wrong than pessimistic and right.

When someone does a small task beautifully, their whole environment is affected by it.

If you want to be enthusiastic, act enthusiastic.

The smallest seed of faith is better than the largest fruit of happiness.

A leader is a dealer in hope.
