I worked for Xerox for 4 years and after that I knew I was never going to be a corporate person. It wasn’t my environment.

You can walk down these halls, and they’ll tell you, ‚We need to do usability better, push this or that frontier.‘

I wanted to race cars. I didn’t like school, and all I wanted to do was work on cars. But right before I graduated, I got into a really bad car accident, and I spent that summer in the hospital thinking about where I was heading. I decided to take education more seriously and go to a community college.

I was planning to go into architecture. But when I arrived, architecture was filled up. Acting was right next to it, so I signed up for acting instead.

You know, from age 17 on, my paycheck was coming from cooking and working in kitchens.

I still have my unemployment books and I remember when I worked for the sanitation department and the post office.
