Confucius
As a child, I wanted to know how things worked and to control them. With a friend, I built a number of complicated models that I could control.
The truth is lived, not taught.
My knowledge of electrical subjects was not acquired in a methodical manner but was picked up from such books as I could get hold of and from such experiments as I could make with my own hands.
Often the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain.
We cannot learn men from books.
I hear, I know. I see, I remember. I do, I understand.
