I’ve taken advantage of a few breaks that came along and moved along with them.

You can never plan the future by the past.

If you have the opportunity to play this game of life you need to appreciate every moment. A lot of people don’t appreciate the moment until it’s passed.

There are millions of Americans outside Washington who are tired of stale political arguments and are moving this country forward. They believe, and I believe, that here in America, our success should depend not on accident of birth, but the strength of our work ethic and the scope of our dreams.

From a certain point onward there is no longer any turning back. That is the point that must be reached.

History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again.

I will keep America moving forward, always forward, for a better America, for an endless enduring dream and a thousand Points of Light. This is my mission, and I will complete it.

We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose.

I don’t live in the past at all; I’m always wanting to do something new. I make a point of constantly trying to forget and get things out of my mind.

I’m reflective only in the sense that I learn to move forward. I reflect with a purpose.

Prejudice is a chain, it can hold you. If you prejudice, you can’t move, you keep prejudice for years. Never get nowhere with that.

Some people don’t like change, but you need to embrace change if the alternative is disaster.

I tend not to look back and dwell on a project once it is finished.

I can’t deal with someone wanting to take a relationship backward or needing space or cheating on you. It’s a conscious thing; it’s a common-sense thing.

We will move forward, we will move upward, and yes, we will move onward.

Government can provide opportunity. But opportunity means nothing unless people are prepared to seize it.

I owe everything to Nirvana. But I can’t let that overshadow the future. For the first few years, I didn’t even want to talk about Nirvana. Partly because it was just painful to talk about losing Kurt but also because I wanted the Foo Fighters to mean something.

You can’t go backward in life.

It’s hard to be clear about who you are when you are carrying around a bunch of baggage from the past. I’ve learned to let go and move more quickly into the next place.

My attitude has always been, if you fall flat on your face, at least you’re moving forward. All you have to do is get back up and try again.

When there’s so much left to do, why spend your time focusing on things you’ve already done, counting trophies or telling stories about the good old days?

When you make a mistake and the devil comes and tells you ‚You’re no good,‘ you don’t have to take on the guilt and condemnation he wants to put on you. No! You can immediately confess your mistake to God, thank Him for forgiving you and cleansing you with the blood of Jesus, and move forward in the victory of His grace and forgiveness.

We should learn to accept that change is truly the only thing that’s going on always, and learn to ride with it and enjoy it.
